The fish die-off in Lake Simcoe has many people concerned. The lake is talking to us and we must listen. A similar problem occurred in the Kawarthas last year. The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources has released several resource materials to help explain that situation which may have relevance to Lake Simcoe. The Ladies of the Lake gives voice to all people interested in Lake Simcoe and its Watershed. 
Ensuring the lake's health, water quality and understanding the impact climate change is having on the lake, is
vital for people
who live anywhere in the watershed, fish, boat, have a cottage, or run a business from
farming to marinas, resorts, restaurants or an eco-tourism operation.
