New Lake Simcoe Website Ongoing Initiatives

OurLakeSimcoe.com is a must-go-to-website created as a gathering place
for people and groups from around the Lake and watershed.

The project's founding partners are the Ladies of the Lake, the Rescue Lake
Simcoe Coalition, Windfall Ecology Centre, and the Ontario Stewardship Council.

Highlights are:

The LoveDial -- an interactive map that visually connects visitors to the site
with the fascinating diversity of Lake Simcoe and the Watershed
News -- a continually updated news stream--a showcase for press releases
and developing Lake Simcoe news
Players and Projects -- a powerful online database where groups helping the
Lake can share what they're doing, link up and connect energy and efforts
Action Tool Kit -- specific ways and means for everyone to get involved

The Ladies of the Lake gives voice to all people interested in Lake Simcoe and its Watershed.
Ensuring the lake's health, water quality and understanding the impact climate change is having on the lake, is
vital for people who live anywhere in the watershed, fish, boat, have a cottage, or run a business from
farming to marinas, resorts, restaurants or an eco-tourism operation.
